“Every Gift Tells a Story.” Holiday 2018 campaign for Indigo Books & Music.

A cozy cabin with the ones you love—what could be more ideal than that for the holidays? For this campaign I imagined the journey a family goes on in getting their holiday retreat ready for the season, and then relaxing and enjoying the time together. This idea was the perfect frame for Indigo’s cozy gift offering, and the assets were used across every channel to connect with our customers—most impressive of which was an immersive pop-up experience in the Christmas Market at Toronto’s Distillery District.

“Every Gift Tells a Story.” Holiday 2018 pop-up experience for Indigo Books & Music.

For this unique project I collaborated with Indigo’s visual team to create an interactive experience—similar to Instagrammable popups like Happy Place and The Museum of Ice Cream. We wanted to invite visitors to Toronto’s Distillery District’s Christmas Market to come inside and relax, play and have fun. In the visual direction, my goal was to inspire them with Indigo’s holiday offerings and build brand love. Each visitor was gifted with a code they could use afterwards to shop online or at a store, prolonging the experience.
